Privacy policy

What I collect

• Project estimator — your name, email and the answers you give on /quote — only if you submit the form and tick the authorisation box.
• Direct contact — whatever you send by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn: name, email or phone number, and the content of your message.
• Analytics — pages visited, device type, approximate country and referral source. With cookies only if you accept them; Vercel's performance metrics are aggregated and cookieless.
• Technical data — your IP address and browser are kept in Vercel's server logs for security and troubleshooting.
• The /series section — a personal corner with two fixed profiles; it stores TV-show lists in a key-value store. It creates no accounts and collects nothing from visitors.
• What I never collect — card or bank details, identity documents, or sensitive data (health, biometrics, orientation, political or union affiliation).

What I use it for

I don't profile you, I make no automated decisions about you, and I send no marketing email — I only answer what you ask.

• Replying to your request and, where relevant, preparing a proposal.
• Understanding which pages are useful and improving the site.
• Keeping the site available and secure.

Legal basis

In Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012 requires your prior, express and informed authorisation. You give it by ticking the estimator's box, by writing to me, or by accepting analytics cookies in the site banner.

If you are in the EU or the UK, the legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) and the pre-contractual steps you request by contacting me (art. 6(1)(b)).

You can withdraw your authorisation at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you asked.

Where your data ends up

I keep no client database and no CRM. The site relies on these providers, acting as data processors:

• Vercel — site hosting and server logs.
• Resend — delivers the estimator email. It does not retain the content beyond what delivery requires.
• Google — Gmail (where that email arrives and stays), Tag Manager and Analytics (only with your consent), and Google Calendar if you book a call.
• Meta — WhatsApp Business, if you choose to write to me there.

International transfers

All of those providers run servers outside Colombia, mainly in the United States, so using the site involves an international transfer of your data. Each provider's service terms carry its own protection safeguards.

I do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else.

How long I keep it

If you ask for deletion, I delete whatever is under my control.

• Enquiry emails — for as long as the conversation lasts and up to two years afterwards, in case we pick the project back up.
• Analytics — up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Server logs — Vercel's default retention period.

Your rights

You may access, update and correct your data; request proof of the authorisation you gave; be told how it is used; withdraw that authorisation and ask for deletion; and complain to Colombia's Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) if you believe the law is being broken.

If the GDPR applies to you, you also have rights of access, portability, restriction and objection.

Children

The site is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor sent me personal information, write to me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If something material changes I update this page and the date in the header. Changes take effect when published.
